Johnny was an only child raised in Wheaton MD just outside of DC. With no siblings and parents that usually had alcohol to drink or drugs to try, Johnny spent most of his time with his grandparents who were the most influential people in his life. When he was 10, he experienced the greatest loss of his life. Losing his childhood best friend to an enlarged heart as well as both of his grandparents less than a year later. He realized there would be no greater pain than that. He discovered that laughter was the best medicine for pain. He became addicted to the medication. His ability to change his paradigm from negative to positive proved to be a valuable skill that would carry him through the rest of his life and guaranteed success no matter what the outcome.
